The Vehicle
We built this one the way we'd want it ourselves. A full body-off, engine-out rebuild — the complete Fearless Stage 2 restoration — finished in Nebula Green over a brand-new, custom-stitched canvas top. One of a kind, and ready for its next owner.
The original 4.2-litre 2F engine was found to be in excellent order, so we kept it and rebuilt around it: a fresh carburettor, all-new hoses and brake lines, Toyota front disc brakes with servo assistance, Denso air conditioning and Toyota power steering. It rides on Toyota shocks front and rear with restored leaf springs on custom shackles. The standout upgrade is a 5-speed H55F gearbox, which turns it into a genuinely relaxed cruiser at higher speeds.
Inside it has been fully retrimmed in burnt orange leather — seats, gear boots, sun visors and door cards — over a custom-fitted carpet with matching binding. An LED lighting conversion, a Warn winch and 16" OEM steel wheels with original hubcaps on Bridgestone Dueler M/T tyres finish it off. An excellent restoration and a testimony to the time and lengths we go to in rebuilding these cult classics. Available and ready for sale.
