A 1978 FJ40 hardtop in Dune Beige with a tan brown vinyl interior — one of our favourite builds, now delivered to its owner in Bali.
Stripped down to the chassis and rebuilt with new hardware throughout. The build saw a new fuel tank, new brake and fuel pipes, a rebuilt carburettor, aluminium radiator, electronic ignition, new clutch and flywheel, and front disc brakes with servo. The original 2F 4,200cc engine and three-speed gearbox were retained.
Finished with Bilstein shocks front and rear, white powder-coated steel wheels with OEM hubcaps, a teak-topped roof rack, a fitted floor carpet, rear cupholders and a floor-mounted Marshall Bluetooth unit. Shown here as an example of the work we do.
