The Vehicle
This 1977 FJ40 was commissioned by a collector in Poole, Dorset and affectionately named 'Colonel Mustard'. Finished in Mustard Yellow and trimmed throughout in tobacco brown leather. An original soft-top Land Cruiser we bare-metal restored and finished to the same standard as every car we build.
It retains its original 2F 4,200cc engine, now paired with an upgraded four-speed gearbox and the original transfer case for town driving. The chassis was stripped and rebuilt, the engine inspected and reassembled with new gaskets and fluids, and the braking system fully overhauled with front discs and servo.
Extras include Old Man Emu suspension set up front and rear, white powder-coated steel wheels, a Mercedes Pagoda style floor carpet and AC.
